This unique clock is made from wine barrel stave ends. A centre hole is drilled to accept the 2 3/4 inch clock movement with Arabic numbering.
The front of the clock is a natural oak colour and the back side is coloured a deep purple from the red wine that the barrel held for years. The bottom is cut at a slight angle to the clock leans back a bit to balance.
The wood is hand finished with durable and beautiful glossy tung oil.
The clock is about 9 inches high, 6 inches wide, and about 1 inch thick. The colour varies with the type of wine and the age of the barrel. The front of the clock is bowed slightly from the barrel shape and the back includes a taper at the top and the slot that accepts the barrel top.
This item includes a AAA battery.
