This 28" high sofa table is made from a 1 5/8 inch thick ash cookie with hairpin legs. It is an irregular circle 18 inches at its widest point. It is a one-of-a-kind table made from what will soon be an endangered North American tree species.
It has a warm ash colour with an irregular dark centre and lighter edge.
The cookie is flattened and all cracks are filled with epoxy, creating a smooth surface.
The black metal hairpin legs raise the table top delicately and provide stable support.
