This unique side table is made from a single Niagara wine barrel top mounted on an adjustable metal base. The table top is roughly 23 inches wide (depending on the barrel) and the height is adjustable from 24 to 29 inches by spinning the top.
Extra care is used to make sure that the table top is as flat as possible, but some surface variation is inevitable. I take the top apart, clean out the tongue-and-groove joints and re-glue using water resistant wood glue. The top is also held flat by its connection to the base.
The top is finished in natural oak colour. The finish is a durable glossy tung oil.
The base is made of steel tube painted a brown, and is shipped in a flat pack and requires assembly. All connectors and tools are included.
